With a loaded range of 700 kilometers, fast fueling in under 20 minutes, and zero tailpipe emissions, the Hyundai XCIENT Fuel Cell represents the future of clean transportation.
HTEC, through its Vehicle Leasing Corporation (VLC), is making this next-generation hydrogen truck available to fleet operators across the Lower Mainland. VLC offers a comprehensive package that includes hydrogen fuel supply, truck leasing, and access to a maintenance facility, supporting fleet operators who are leading the shift to low-carbon fuel alternatives.
Later this year, HTEC’s Hyundai XCIENT trucks will hit the roads in B.C., supported by a growing hydrogen ecosystem, including HTEC’s Burnaby Clean Hydrogen Production Facility and a new heavy-duty hydrogen refueling station.
This zero-emission Peterbilt 220 truck, retrofitted with Unilia fuel cell stacks delivering 117 kW of power, is part of HTEC’s growing fleet. It will be leased to a local fleet operator and deployed in Greater Vancouver later this year.
The vehicle will be supported through HTEC’s Vehicle Leasing Corporation (VLC), which includes maintenance in a hydrogen-safe service bay at Velocity Truck Centre. The truck will be fueled by HTEC’s heavy-duty hydrogen refueling station, which is supported by HTEC’s Burnaby Clean Hydrogen Production Facility.
